The Phoenix Healthcare Value Measurement Initiative (PHVMI)
The Phoenix Healthcare Value Measurement Initiative is a collaborative venture of Arizona providers, employers, health plans, SLHI and Arizona HealthQuery. The participating and supporting organizations of PHVMI have agreed to pursue the following consensus-based goals.
- Improve Community Health
- Collaborate to assure access to data
- Publicly report value
- Support the building of Health Information Technology (HIT) infrastructure
- Promote beneficiary involvement
PHVMI has broad, multi-stakeholder participation and governance, including national health plans and employers, regional hospital and physician leaders, and the regional Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Quality Improvement Organization (CMS QIO).
