PHVMI: A Collaborative Success Story in Progress
Participating PHVMI organizations have an ambitious agenda: to provide a 360-degree view of the relative performance of all stakeholders in advancing quality, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. The effort will focus on assessing patient resource use and health status over time and across the full continuum of care.
All participants have agreed to a consensus framework that holds everyone to broad accountability, to a sense of urgency and the need to improve quickly, and to creating a culture of beneficial involvement. All have pledged to work using common publicly reported quality, outcome and value measures and to expand the existing Arizona HealthQuery data warehouse in order to reach shared goals.
