Arizona Health Survey
The Arizona Health Survey (AHS) is a comprehensive research effort developed to foster new insights and deepen our understanding of health and well-being in Arizona.
It's a project for Arizonans, by Arizonans. More than 4,000 participants contributed responses on more than 100 interrelated facets of health. AHS 2008 received considerable support and survey design input from The Virgnia G. Piper Charitable Trust, The Valley of the Sun United Way and the Arizona Community Foundation in addition to major funding from SLHI. Currently, researchers and community groups - including the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and others - from across the state are delving into the survey data.
