Proposal TipsPlease do not staple or bind pages. Please remember to number the pages. If the proposal is more than 8 to 10 pages long (single spaced, excluding attachments), you've probably said too much. State exactly what it is you propose to do and the dollar amount requested from SLHI in the first paragraph of the Executive Summary. Take the time to prepare a persuasive budget. This is often where staff look first to determine what's "going on." Be clear about outcomes that can be assessed, and how the project might be sustained following the grant period. Reminder: proposals will be considered by the SLHI Board of Directors only if those proposing organizations have had prior discussion with SLHI program staff. We're happy to help. Learn more. |
